Hi everyone!
Unfortunately, I don't have as much time as I would like to to create stories about my Sylvanians, so I will no longer be running this blog. The good news is, I will still be posting - but this time on my mum GreyRabbit's blog, Sylvanian Sunshine! Click here to view our blog!

It's been a while since I last posted - I haven't done anything since last year! I am still interested in my Sylvanians though, and Macadamia Grove, Town and the seaside have new additions since last time. Today I have a series of photos featuring the Cakebread children. I hope you enjoy them!
Hello everyone, I know I'm posting this a bit late, but it's finally here! This story is part 2 of a story originally started on Sylvanian Sunshine. If you haven't already read it, I suggest heading over there to check it out. * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * It was Christmas Eve in Macadamia Grove, and the Trunks were busily preparing for the village Christmas party until disaster struck - their oven broke before any of cakes or roasts could be cooked. Savannah was almost in tears; how would she achieve the perfect Christmas party now? Just then, Hugo came up to her. “Whatever is wrong?” he asked. Savannah explained how her oven had broken, and that there was no way of having food for the party. Hugo, being sensible, decided that the best course of action would be to ring up Mr Prickles, so he could tell them what was wrong. Savannah agreed, so they set off to Beechwood Hall to ask if they could use the phone. At the door, they were met by Isabella who immediately showed them through to the study where the phone was located. Hugo explained the problem, and after a short while, was off the phone. “It needs a spare part”, he told them. “I’ll ring the company in town to see if they can send one over.” He rang the number and had a conversation with the Sylvanian at the other end of the line. “Well, there’s good news and bad news.” He said “The good news is they can supply the part. The bad news is, it won’t arrive until the 29th of December.” This news was very distressing to Savannah. She had wanted a perfect Christmas party, but now it didn’t look like there was going to be much of a Christmas party at all, not without food! When Savannah got back to the Courtyard Restaurant, she decided that she could at least make the cheesecake and salad that she had been planning on. She set to work, and just as she was putting the cheesecake in the fridge, Mr Rivertail arrived with a sleigh. Savannah was very excited, this must be the surprise he was talking about. She quickly came out of the kitchen to greet him. “Hello Murray”, she said, “I see that you’ve brought your surprise.” “Yes, I worked very hard on it”, he replied. “But why don’t I smell anything delicious cooking?” This nearly made Savannah burst into tears again. “Oh, it’s awful”, said Savannah, “My oven has broken, and the part won’t come until the 29th.” Murray agreed that it really was awful and asked if there was anything he could do. “I don’t think there is, no one could possibly cook everything in time for tomorrow.” Soon the word spread that Savannah’s oven had broken and she wouldn’t be able to cook and food for the party. Everyone felt very sorry for her and they all resolved to bring something to Christmas. On Christmas morning, Savannah awoke feeling very sad. She had wanted to host the big village Christmas party for so long, but when she finally got the chance to, she couldn’t provide food for everyone. How was she going to explain to all the villagers that all they had to eat for dinner was salad? Just then, Peanut and Nana came and jumped on her and Hugo, wanting to show them what they had gotten from the Northern Mouse. Savannah knew that she had to get up and face the day. All throughout the day, Savannah tried to keep cheerful. She made sure the house and garden were all set up and everything was cleaned, right down to the last speck of dust. At 4:30, she started getting ready, as the guests would arrive at 5 o’clock. Just then, the doorbell rang, and Savannah went to answer it. It was the Hazelnuts, and with them they had a beautiful cake! Savannah was so surprised, she just stood there for a few seconds, wondering why they had brought it. Just then, Amber spoke. “We knew that your oven had broken, so we decided to bring something. I hope you don’t mind.” Savannah hugged her, then led her into the house so she could put the cake down. The same thing happened with everyone - each family had decided to bring something to the party. Soon, there was no more room on the table inside, so they had to start putting them on the outside tables. Savannah was very happy that everyone had thought of her, and even happier that there was now enough food for everyone. The party had turned out to be a great success! That night, as she lay in bed, Savannah realised that the perfect party was not achieved when you do everything yourself, but when everyone works together.
